What sets Fondy 100 Gives apart is its unique funding model.

Every dollar of the $127,500 in grant awards to date has been exclusively funded by the program’s 100 members. As a members-only initiative with a maximum enrollment capacity of 100, each participant contributes quarterly dues of $100. With 100 members on board, each funded project receives a grant of $7,500 and an additional $2,500 is allocated to build the Fondy 100 Gives Endowment Fund for future community projects.

Every three months, Fondy 100 Gives members have the opportunity to learn about local nonprofit projects through presentations given by three representatives. Each presenter has five minutes to share their project’s vision and impact, followed by a five-minute question-and-answer session. After the live presentations, members cast anonymous votes for the project they believe should be funded. The project that receives the most votes is announced immediately.

Fondy 100 Gives has proven to be powerful force for positive change in Fond du Lac County. With the unwavering support of its 100 members, the program has made a significant impact on local nonprofit agencies and their initiatives.
