Beaver Dam Unified School District Education Fund: Success For Today and Tomorrow

In 2021 the Beaver Dam Unified School District developed a partnership with the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation to establish the BDUSD Education Fund.  The Education Fund exists to provide grant awards, beyond those allocated by BDUSD, for creative projects requested by district employees for the benefit of BDUSD students in amounts ranging from $500-$2500.

Since 2021, the BDUSD Education Fund has provided through local generous donations 25 unique and innovative projects encompassing all three educational levels of elementary, middle school, and high school.  The grants totaled more than $33,000. For the 2023-24 school year, $12,000 was contributed by the community donors and awarded to the following projects:

  • Prairie View STEAM Materials
  • Middle School Virtual Reality Experiences
  • Opera for the Young at Lincoln
  • Disc Golf at Lincoln
  • High School Mindfulness Projects
  • Interpretation for the High School Musical
  • Middle School Music Midi Controllers
  • Middle School Advisory Activities
  • BDHS Robotics Materials
  • Emotional Regulation Strategies for Jefferson
  • Cozy Library for Prairie View
