Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation Nears $175,000 in Unrestricted Grant Awards

Since 2020, the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation’s unrestricted Community Fund has awarded $172,995 in grant dollars to Dodge County nonprofits through their bi-annual grant cycles; a truly remarkable accomplishment for the Foundation which was established in 2019 with only $12,000 in unrestricted assets.

The Foundation was founded to be a permanent source of funding to help communities thrive. With nonprofits at the frontlines working tirelessly for individual and collective well-being, the Foundation is committed to using the Community Fund to build vibrant, healthy, and equitable communities.

The Community Fund combines the foresight of donors with the Foundation’s expertise to carefully award meaningful grants that will make an immediate impact. It ensures generosity will remain relevant and local. As the funding source for the Foundation’s spring and fall grant cycles, the Community Fund offers an easy solution for charitably minded individuals who want to give back but do not have time to research the many nonprofits that deserve support.

The Beaver Dam Area Foundation is currently accepting grant applications from eligible Dodge County nonprofits for awards up to $2,500. The community is invited to contribute to the success of the Foundation’s fall grant cycle and the impact made through a donation to the Community Fund.
