From one generation ... to the next

The Fond du Lac Area Foundation is a community foundation that exists for the good of the community. The Foundation is a 501 (c)3 organization with a purpose to build a permanent & lasting endowment to support the charitable needs of the community now and forever. Since 1975, the Fond du Lac Area Foundation has partnered with generous individuals, families, and businesses to strengthen our community through charitable giving. The Foundation is dedicated to helping people just like you achieve your charitable dreams, no matter how big or small.

The Foundation provides the following:

  1. A service to donors who have a charitable dream. The Foundation works with them to ensure that their charitable dream is set up properly, documented and carried out to the donor's specifications.  Provide donors with a Legacy Society to allow their names to live on forever through planned giving.

  2. Grants for the charitable good of the community to support health and human services, education, the arts, the environment, etc.

  3. The Foundation acts as a neutral convenor and collaborator to work with individuals and organizations to determine unmet needs within our community and find ways to meet those needs.

Become a part of the Legacy Society

Your planned gift will have meaning and impact for generations to come. Legacy giving does not require a large income or a vast estate. It only requires you to let the Foundation know that you have chosen to make a difference by identifying the Foundation in your will or estate plan. To learn more about the Legacy Society please click here
