SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

A $400 scholarship will be offered annually to a student enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program at Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac.  This scholarship is provided through income from a fund established by Robert Rucks in memory of his wife, Rita, who was an avid and excellent baker and cook.

Students who are completing their first year of the Culinary Arts Program are eligible to apply.  Applications for the scholarship are available in the Financial Aid Office at MPTC.

SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

The scholarship will be awarded on the following criteria:
A. 
Demonstrated success in the first year of the Culinary Arts Program.
B. 
Demonstrated interest in the culinary arts field by participation in activities both in and out of the class which relate to the field.
C. 
Financial need.

APPLICANTS MUST

A. Applicants must have plans to enroll for the second year of the Culinary Arts Program
B. Applicants must have maintained at least a 2.75 grade point average for the first semester of the Culinary Arts Program.
C. 
Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students

The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the Financial Aid Office at MPTC on behalf of the student upon proof that the student is enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program.
