The Dr. J. Michael Doyle Scholarship was established by Mike's wife, Mary, and his family. Dr. Doyle was a well-known, caring, and respected dentist in the Fond du Lac area. He was originally from Midland, Pennsylvania and attended Marquette University on a football scholarship. Knowing the value of an education, Dr. Doyle helped many students with their education and also encouraged his family and many of his employees to further their own learning. One of his greatest assets was his wonderful sense of humor and its contagious effect on others. He was sensitive to the needs of others and a very generous man. Dr. Doyle passed away in March 2013; his family has set up this scholarship in honor of his Irish spirit and willingness to give to others.
